FIXTURE CHANGES AND TV DATES
(All Kick Offs are Malta time)
It has been confirmed that Spurs will be playing in the first live televised match of the 2007-08 Barclays Premier League season following the announcement of the first round of live game selections from Sky Sports and Setanta Sports.
The trip to the Stadium of Light to face Roy Keane’s Sunderland on the season’s opening day on Saturday August 11 will now kick-off at 1.45pm, televised by Sky.
Our first home game of the campaign, Everton at the Lane, will also be live on Sky on Tuesday August 14, kick-off 9pm.
Our first change of date is when we take on the champions as our trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United moves from Saturday August 25 to Sunday August 26, live on Sky, kick-off now 5pm.
The first game live on Setanta is at the Lane against Aston Villa on Monday October 1st , kick-off 9pm, and represents a special occasion for everyone at Spurs – given the Club’s first-ever match was held on September 30, 1882, this match has been selected to celebrate our 125th anniversary.
Details of planned celebrations will follow shortly. That first game on Setanta is quickly followed by a second, this time the trip to St James Park for Newcastle United on Monday October 22, also kicking-off at 9pm.
Our final televised game in this first round of selections is West Ham United at Upton Park on Sunday November 25, kick-off 2.30pm.
Here are the televised games:
Sunderland (a), Saturday August 11, 1.45pm, Sky Sports.

Other changes:
We have three more changes to fixtures. The first North London derby of the season against Arsenal at the Lane on Saturday September 15 will now kick-off at 2.30pm on Police advice. Finally, two games have been moved back 24 hours due to our Thursday night involvement in the UEFA Cup – Bolton away moves to Sunday September 23 (from September 22), kick-off 4pm, while our trip to Anfield and Liverpool moves to Sunday October 7 (from October 6), again kicking-off at 4pm.
Fans are advised that should we progress in the UEFA Cup further changes are likely and will be announced as they occur.
