Ghaly gone, Mido still in the balance
Midfielder Hossam Ghaly has put pen-to-paper on a contract with Birmingham City.
The Blues agreed a deal with Spurs for the Egyptian midfielder and compatriot Mido.
However, while Mido's switch hangs in the balance over personal terms, Ghaly is happy with Birmingham's offer.
The former Feyenoord ace is now looking forward to linking-up with his team-mates, although he does not know if Mido will be joining him at St Andrews.
"I put the finishing touches to the move and signed the contract," he told Dream TV.

"I passed the medical and will link up with my new Birmingham team-mates within the next couple of days"
The fee for Ghaly is reported to be 3 million pounds.

Ghaly had some impressive games with Spurs, including the UEFA clash with Besiktas, and the league matches against Chelsea. Other notable presences against Blackburn, Portsmouth (the close encounter with Pamarot!!!!), and Blackburn.

Perhaps Spurs have not seen the best of Ghaly, however it seems that he did not fit in Jol's tactics.
